Evacuations
Information on evacuations can change rapidly. For the latest, The Times’ interactive wildfires map shows evacuation areas, as does the Genasys map, and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire) has a map where you can insert your address.
Note: Residents in areas of Pasadena affected by the fire have been advised not to use tap water for drinking and cooking until further notice, according to the State Water Resources Control Board and the Pasadena Public Health Department. The fire damaged reservoirs and pump stations, potentially bringing debris into the system and threatening water quality.
Here is a map of where this order is in place.
Evacuation orders have been lifted for the area southwest of Altadena Drive, north of New York Drive and east of Allen Avenue. This is known as zone ALD-MIDLOTHIAN.
In addition, a soft closure is in effect for several other evacuated zones with access available to residents with a valid photo ID that shows their name and legal address, such as a driver’s license. This includes the area along Canyon Crest Road into the Meadows east of El Prieto Road; the area east of Lake Avenue and south of Mendocino Lane; and the area south of Church Canyon Place, east of Old Toll Road, west of Sunset Ridge Road.
The specific zones are:
- ALD-MEADOWS

- ALD-MILARD C
Entry and exit points will be at the intersections of Canyon Crest Road and Lincoln Avenue; La Vina Lane and Lincoln Avenue; New York Drive and Allen Avenue; and New York Drive and Lake Avenue.
