Recycle hazardous and e-waste at city event
Laguna Beach residents and business owners can dispose of unwanted paint, batteries and electronics at a free recycling event April 9.
The city and trash-collection company Waste Management are partnering on the event, which runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Act V parking lot, 1900 Laguna Canyon Road. A list of acceptable waste items is available on the city’s website, www.lagunabeachcity.net/recycling.
Attendants will be on hand to remove items from cars. Contents must not exceed 125 pounds, or 15 gallons for liquids, according to a news release.
Free paper shredding will also be available.
