“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills†star Kim Richards pleaded no contest Monday to charges stemming from a run-in with police at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills.

After pleading no contest to one count misdemeanor of resisting arrest, Richards, 50, was immediately sentenced to three years’ probation and ordered to serve 30 days of community labor, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.

She was ordered to complete 52 weeks of Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. Richards must also stay away from the Polo Lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Beverly Hills police said Richards appeared to be drunk, so security tried to escort her out of the restaurant. But she went to the hotel restroom and refused to leave. Police had to pull her out.

While she was booked, Richards tried to kick a male officer in the groin, but the kick landed on his leg, police said.

Months later, Richards was arrested again. This time, she was accused of shoplifting from Target.

Richards was detained by loss prevention security guards in August at a Target in Van Nuys on suspicion of shoplifting $600 in products, said Officer Liliana Preciado of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Security noticed she was preparing to leave without paying for numerous products, Preciado said.

When confronted, Richards was placed under citizen’s arrest, and the LAPD was called.

Richards’ battle with alcohol abuse has been an ongoing subject on the reality show.
