Motorist dies when car overturns in El Monte
A 20-year-old man died Friday night when his car overturned in a crash that closed the northbound Rosemead onramp to the eastbound 60 Freeway in El Monte.
Officer Tony Polizzi of the California Highway Patrol said the roads were closed at 10:09 p.m. following the single-vehicle accident. He did not identify the driver and said the exact location where the accident occurred was unknown.
Los Angeles County firefighters pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
