How to have an intimate lunch with Ludo Lefebvre at Trois Mec
If you’re still waiting to get a seat at Trois Mec, Ludo Lefebvre’s swank 24-seat restaurant disguised as a Raffallo’s strip mall pizza joint — you know, the one that operates via a lottery ticket system — here’s your chance.
You can actually have an intimate lunch with the chef, and impress a couple of friends. Gilt City, the luxury e-commerce site, is selling a small number of tickets to a luncheon with Lefebvre.

The lunch will take place Oct. 24, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., and includes a special menu prepared by Lefebvre plus some time to mingle with the chef. Guests will also receive a signed copy of his book, “Crave: The Feast Of The Five Senses.â€
Just pray his potato puree -- the one he makes with brown butter, onion soubise, Salers cheese from the Auvergne and dried Japanese bonito flakes -- is on that special menu.
Tickets are available online, and are being sold as a table for two ($90), table for four ($180) and table for six ($270).
