It’s a little less sunny in Sherman Oaks. Actors Rob McElhenney and Kaitlin Olson, who star on the show “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,†have sold their gated home in the San Fernando Valley neighborhood for $2.5 million.

The English Traditional-style house, built in 2008, boasts bold living spaces with vaulted ceilings and dark hardwood floors. Included in the 4,024 square feet of living space are a chandelier-topped living room and center-island kitchen connected by an open floor plan.

The vaulted ceilings continue in the master suite, one of four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. A private balcony surveys the landscaped backyard with a covered patio and a saltwater pool and spa.

Jeremy Flores of the District Realty Group held the listing. Christine Kim of Douglas Elliman represented the buyer.

A Philly native, McElhenney, 40, is co-directing the upcoming Minecraft movie. Olson, 42, stars in the Fox comedy series “The Mick.â€
