A colonial-vibe home owned by singer Nikka Costa and her husband, musician-songwriter Justin Stanley, has sold to actress Sarah Solemani for $1.788 million in Studio City.
Solemani, who starred in the BBC sitcom “Him & Her,” paid about $100,000 over the original asking price, public records show.
Features of the roughly 3,500-square-foot house include coffered ceilings, brick accents and floors of hardwood and terra cotta tile. There’s a fireplace and a bay window in the step-down living room. A custom island topped with white marble highlights the kitchen.
Counting the master suite, which has an office and private balcony, the home holds three bedrooms and three bathrooms. A detached guest studio adds additional living quarters.
Also within the grounds is a swimming pool and a terra cotta-tiled patio.
According to public records, Costa and Stanley bought the home in 2014 for $1.24 million.
Ingrid Sacerio of the Agency was the listing agent. Michel Bron of Power Brokers International represented Solemani.
Costa, 45, started recording music as a child. Her hits include “(Out Here) On My Own” and “Like a Feather.”
In addition to “Him & Her,” Solemani, 35, has appeared in films such as “The Bad Education Movie” (2015) and “Bridget Jones’s Baby” (2016).
