Fashion scion Nicolas Bijan Pakzad buttons up a sale in Hollywood Hills West
The Hollywood Hills West home of Nicolas Bijan Pakzad, son of the late designer and House of Bijan founder Bijan Pakzad, has sold for $3 million, or $50,000 more than the asking price.
The Spanish villa-style home, which sits behind tall privacy hedges, has been updated to modern standards while retaining its classic character. Features include arched doorways, white-painted beams and a wood-burning fireplace in the living room. Porthole-style windows in the entry lend a deco vibe.
The remodeled kitchen, anchored by a La Cornue range, opens to the family room. There are two bedrooms and three bathrooms — each updated with vibrant marble slabs and Newport Brass fixtures — in 2,000 square feet of interior.
Outside, a brick path leads to a raised spa and fire pit. The garage has been converted to a gym.
Pakzad, who now runs his father’s high-end menswear company, bought the house three years ago from real estate agent and “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles†personality Josh Flagg for $1.9 million.
Other notable owners to have lived in the house include Estonian-born actress Narda Onyx and music producer David Kahne, according to public records.
Drew Mandile and Dean Mandile of Sotheby’s International Realty were the listing agents. Marc Noah, also with Sotheby’s, represented the buyer.
