Impoverishing Tax Cuts
Re “Middle, Lower Classes Feel Pinch,†Sept. 27: Now that it has been proven that the poor and middle class are getting poorer, isn’t it time for President Bush to fix the problem by giving more tax cuts to the rich? By all means, let’s not give any money to the poor; it will only exacerbate their situation. I hear House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Texas) is working on large tax cuts for corporations next year. I’m sure the millions of people in poverty will be dancing in the streets.
