Words’ worth
Thanks for the piece on San Francisco’s Word for Word theater company and its founders (“Authors’ Best Friends,†by Michael J. Ybarra, Aug. 17). Living in a town where novels and stories are frequently viewed as little more than raw starter fuel for the movie-making machine, it’s refreshing to read about a theater that’s figured out how to celebrate the printed word in all its unabridged glory.
