Broome Ranch Deal Is a Boon
Hooray for the acquisition of Broome Ranch into the public domain.
I have hiked Boney Mountain and go regularly to and from the beach through Sycamore Canyon, so I can attest to the rustic beauty of this land. Saving this scenic wilderness area from development will not only protect the acquired acreage but also the surrounding open space from the impacts if it had been developed.
I think this acquisition shows respect for land in its natural state and our desire for its preservation.
