Papp’s Cancer
We were terribly saddened to learn that one of our most brilliant theatrical producers recently died due to prostate cancer.
This disease has become the No. 1 cancer of incidence in men and the No. 2 cancer killer of men. It has experienced a 63% increase in the last eight years and, yet, because it is usually regarded as the “silent cancer,†receives less than 1% of national cancer funding.
It is our hope and prayer that the knowledge that such people as Papp can die from this disease will help to battle it. His legacy may live in an unexpected way.
