Nestle Consolidation: Nestle USA Inc. said it will consolidate 15 food and beverage companies into six units and retire a chief executive of an Ohio-based unit. Timm Crull, formerly the head of Carnation Co., based in Glendale, Calif., will head the reorganized company. Crull was named chief executive Jan. 1, when it was announced that Nestle Enterprises Inc. and Carnation would merge into the new Nestle USA. James M. Biggar, 62, who had been chief executive of Ohio-based Nestle Enterprises, said he will retire on July 1.
