A $70 profit Thursday on my $100 win bet on Teresa Mc in the fourth race, coupled with the computer’s $70 loss, was enough to put me back in the lead of our competition.

In an effort to hold onto my advantage today, I will wager a $10 exacta box Blaze O’Brien, Agiwin and Svelte in the fifth race.

SURELOCK’s calculations continue to short circuit. His exacta horses in the third race ran second and third and in his fifth race exacta only Appraised, who finished second, was in the money. So it was a loss of $70 for the day and a demotion to second behind a mere mortal in the standings.

In an effort to regain the top spot, the Computer will wager a $6 triple on Saratoga Pass in the seventh to Hawaiian Pass and Drag Race in the eighth to Eratone and Shirkee in the ninth; $20 exacta boxes on Hawaiian Pass and Drag Race in the eighth and Eratone and Shirkee in the ninth.
