Community Psychiatric Lists Rise in Net Earnings
Community Psychiatric Centers, the Santa Ana-based operator of psychiatric hospitals and kidney dialysis centers, reported first-quarter net earnings of $14.6 million, up 15% from $12.8 million for the same quarter last year. The company had first-quarter revenues of $68.4 million, up 20% from $58.7.
Chairman Robert L. Green attributed the earnings improvement to increased patient load at the company’s 25 established hospitals and dialysis centers and to revenue from seven new hospitals the company opened in 1986.
