10 Poles Seek Asylum

VENICE, Italy — Ten young Polish tourists on a bus trip to Italy asked for political asylum Friday, police said. The 10, who arrived in Italy two days ago on a bus tour with 20 other Poles, were taken to police headquarters, and police said they would be moved to a refugee center.
