Football: Jeff Turley is headed to Marina as new coach

Jeff Turley, the longtime defensive coordinator at Long Beach Poly, will be the new football coach at Huntington Beach Marina, a school spokesman confirmed on Wednesday.
Turley was passed over by Poly when Raul Lara resigned this past season, but he was highly regarded as the leader of Poly’s outstanding defense over the past decade.
He will also leave Poly as a teacher and join Marina’s faculty.
