BOYS’ TENNIS

Kyle Pham swept in singles and Diego Fernandez del Valle won two singles sets. Matt Paulsen and John Hart swept in doubles and Grant Brown and Trenton Rhodes won two doubles sets. CdM is 1-0 on the season and plays Newport Harbor tomorrow.

BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL

Sage Hill def. Capistrano Valley Christian

Logan Senn finished with 16 kills in a nonleague match the Lightning won, 24-26, 25-18, 25-22, 24-26, 15-8, at home on Wednesday.

Albert Son produced 13 kills, while Parker Warden and Jack Dickinson had 11 and 10 kills, respectively.

BASEBALL

Mayfair 8, Costa Mesa 4

Cameron Chapman went two for three with one run batted in for the host Mustangs in a nonleague game on Tuesday.

Miguel Rodriguez and Dominick Santos each doubled for Costa Mesa (2-1).
