SAN DIEGO — Senior guard Sarah Boyd had 18 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists to lead the visiting Lions, ranked No. 13, in the Golden State Athletic Conference game Tuesday.
Senior Molly Pfohl had 19 points and seven rebounds and made eight of 10 field-goal tries to pace the winners (13-6, 9-4 in conference).
Boyd was 13 of 16 from the free-throw line.
PLNU is 9-11, 4-8.

Point Loma Nazarene 83, Vanguard 60
SAN DIEGO — Senior Alex Chapman had 23 points and sank nine of 11 field-goal tries for the visiting Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference game Tuesday.
Chapman made all three of his three-point attempts for Vanguard (5-16, 3-10 in conference).
Point Loma is 12-10, 8-5.

TUCSON, Ariz. — UC Irvine freshman Allan Jun finished 18th to help the Anteaters finish 11th in the two-day, 54-hole, 16-team tournament completed Tuesday at the Arizona National Golf Club.
June shot seven-over-par 220. Mickey Chan (38th at 225) was also in the top 40 for UCI, which finished 41 shots back of team winner San Diego State.
