seventh player score

FOUNTAIN VALLEY — Ashley Peters earned medalist honors with a five-over-par 41 and Jackie Tanner’s 55 helped the Eagles win the nonleague match at Mile Square Golf Course Tuesday.

Tanner was the seventh score that beat out Fountain Valley’s after the teams tied and the sixth-player score (Emily Leahy) tied.

Cassie Stevenson (42), Jillian Tanner (46), Frankie Thorpe (52) and Melissa Morel (53) also scored for Estancia (2-1).

ALISO VIEJO – Charlotte Skjonsby shot an eight-over-par 43 in the Sailors’ season opener at Aliso Viejo Golf Course Tuesday.

Tara Hanna finished with a 45 for Newport Harbor, followed by Alley Damser (53), Lauren Pfeifer (56) and Amelia Thomas (58).
