Senior Matt Brown scored five goals for the Mustangs in Tuesday’s nonleague game at home.

Raymond Andrade added three goals for Mesa (1-1), which won its first game for new co-coaches Cody and Dustin Serrano.

Goalkeeper Ivan Shikhelman added 15 saves and five assists for the Mustangs, who play host to Brea Olinda on Wednesday.

LAS FLORES — Freshman Danielle Willson won two of three tough singles sets to lead the Sea Kings in Tuesday’s nonleague road match.

Willson defeated Justine Huang (ranked No. 71 in the Southern California 18s), 7-6, and beat Layla Rodriguez (No. 32 in the 16s), 6-4.

CdM’s doubles teams of Riley Gerdau and Siena Sharf, Jasie Dunk and Paige Kenerson, as well as Camellia Edalat and Taylor Fogarty, all swept.

CdM plays host to Santa Margarita on Thursday.

Newport Harbor 16, Crean Lutheran 2

Freshman Nicole Knickerbocker swept at No. 2 singles for the Sailors, 6-4, 6-2, 6-0, in the nonleague match Tuesday at Newport Harbor High.

Juniors Kendall Cosenza and Anna Burke swept, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 1 doubles. Senior co-captain Annie LaGrandeur and junior Olivia Zehnder also swept in doubles, 6-0, 6-2, 6-0.

Newport Harbor (1-1) plays host to Aliso Niguel on Thursday.

Connie Yu and Maya Byrd swept in doubles for the Lightning in Tuesday’s nonleague match at The Tennis Club Newport Beach.

Crystal Yu and Isabella Deckey also swept for the Lightning (0-2). Marina Anderson and Tess Alexander won two of three sets.

JSerra (2-0) swept in singles.

ORANGE — Kinley Ohland swept at No. 1 singles for the Eagles in Tuesday’s nonleague match.

Morgan Miller and Lauren Weisser won two sets at No. 1 doubles, including the last set on court in a tiebreaker to force the 9-9 tie.

Estancia also defeated Westminster, 11-7, on Monday. Meg Tuxford played well at No. 2 singles.

Estancia (2-1) plays at Bolsa Grande on Wednesday.
