A Huntington Beach man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, according to statement from the Fountain Valley Police Department.
Randy Lee Amado, 33, was booked into Orange County jail and as of Tuesday night hadn’t posted his $100,000 bail.
Fountain Valley officers received a call at 1:52 p.m. Saturday from the 17000 block of Briarwood Street reporting threatening text messages.
Police said that before they
arrived, an argument broke out between Amado and the caller. At that time, a 30-year-old man intervened and was stabbed by Amado, according to police.
Amado fled by the time police arrived.
Authorities were able to locate and arrest Amado three days later.
The victim was treated at a local hospital and released.
