AREA 1
Cypress Drive: A suspicious person was reported breaking into cars in the 200 block at 11:33 p.m. Friday. The caller described the subject as a male with olive skin, dark hair, 20 to 25 years of age, clean cut and wearing a red long-sleeved shirt. He was reportedly flipping door handles to get into cars.
High Drive: Grand theft was reported in the 800 block at 4:20 p.m. Saturday. The caller said he had cash, pearl earrings and an iPhone taken from his home during a New Year’s Eve dinner party.
Cliff Drive: Public intoxication was reported in the 200 block at 10:21 a.m. Sunday. A caller reported a black male wearing all black urinating. Police cited him.
Calle don Carlo: A vehicle impound was reported in the 26900 block at 4:53 p.m. Monday.

Cozumel: A structure fire was reported in the 100 block at 9:50 a.m. Saturday. The caller said the fire started in the microwave. Everyone escaped and the caller put out the fire with an extinguisher.
Laguna Canyon Road: Trespassing was reported in the 20600 block at 9:32 p.m. Saturday. The caller described the subject as a Hispanic male transient, 34 to 35 years of age, with long brown hair, wearing a red baseball cap and black leather jacket.
San Nicholas Court: Harassment was reported in the 300 block at 7:55 a.m. Tuesday. A caller reported persons throwing feces at their house.

Forest Avenue: A disorderly person was reported in the 300 block at the Lumberyard restaurant at 2:21 p.m. Friday. The caller said the subject, described as a transient white male with a hooded sweatshirt and ripped jeans, refused to leave.
Glenneyre Street: A caller reported a suspicious man sleeping in a car parked in a lot and garage area in the 400 block at 9:03 a.m. Saturday. He was described as a white male, mid-50s, medium built with sandy blond hair. The vehicle was a dark blue 1980s model Mercedes-Benz.
South Coast Highway and Laguna Avenue: A caller reported being bitten by a dog on the beach at 2:32 p.m. Sunday.
Park Avenue: A suspicious person was reported in the 800 block at 10:03 a.m. Monday. A male Hispanic with a baseball cap was reportedly trying to break into the caller’s house. He was passing out landscaping business cards. The subject is described as short, average build with a coat. He scurried away when the caller yelled at him.

Coast Highway: A caller reported her daughter’s surfboard was stolen off a car window in the 900 block at 11:02 a.m. Friday.
Santa Cruz Street: Petty theft was reported in the 1400 block at 1:39 p.m. Friday. The caller said that a man who was working at his house took a bracelet worth $300.
Madison Place: A hit-and-run was reported at 2:10 p.m. Friday. The caller said the incident occurred at Glenneyre and Thalia streets. The victim’s car is a brown Volkswagen Jetta.
Cress Street: Petty theft was reported in the 700 block at 1:19 p.m. Saturday. The caller reported her purse was taken at Bluebird Park while she was in the restroom.
Bluebird Canyon Drive: A caller reported two skateboarders were a disturbance in the 1300 block at 3:35 p.m. Saturday.
Glenneyre Street: A caller reported a neighbor threatening to assault her husband over alleged illegal parking in the 1100 block at 10:40 a.m. Sunday. The subject was described as a white male in his mid-30s, wearing a red baseball cap, white T-shirt and jeans. The subject reportedly owns black and silver BMWs.
Glenneyre Street: A suspicious person was reported in the 2400 block at 7:36 p.m. Sunday. The caller reported a male sleeping in a black older model Jaguar with a “For Sale” sign. The subject reportedly passed out.
Bluebird Canyon Drive: Fraud was reported in the 1400 block at 9:45 a.m. Monday. Caller said she wired someone $1,000 through Western Union to a person claiming to be her grandson.
Terrace Way: A fire was reported in the 1300 block at 10:25 a.m. Monday. The caller reported a candle started a fire in a wood structure toward the back of the home. The fire was put out.
South Coast Highway: Trespassing was reported in the 1500 block at 12:15 p.m. Monday. The caller said someone tried to break into the condo twice in the prior two days.
