Newport Beach police are searching for a man they believe robbed a Corona del Mar bank, authorities said Wednesday.
The suspect, described as wearing a gray undershirt with black sweatpants, allegedly slipped a teller a note at Union Bank, 2865 E. Coast Hwy., and demanded cash about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to police.
The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money, and witnesses told police the man had long hair and a goatee, said spokeswoman Kathy Lowe.
Anyone with information is asked to call the department at (800) 550-NBPD, or Orange County Crime Stoppers at (855) 847-6227.
