JWA saddles up for Canada

There was some horsing around at John Wayne Airport on Monday as Canadian airline WestJet inaugurated its nonstop service from JWA to Calgary, Alberta.
Cowboy David Cowley and his 6-year-old quarter horse Spencer dropped by Terminal A to herald the start of the nonstop flights to the city in the Alberta province.
Harry the Horse, the official mascot of the Stampede, Calgary’s annual rodeo, also popped by JWA.
In May, WestJet started serving JWA with nonstop flights to and from Vancouver.
