FRENCH, JOHN TIMMONS, 79, of Newport Beach, passed away September 30, 2010 from acute myelocytic leukemia. Born August 9, 1931 in Sacramento, California to Jack and Helen French, he
will be remembered as a charismatic, loving and generous husband, father, grandfather, mentor, and friend. Jack was a veteran of the Korean war and went on to enjoy an esteemed career in
the mortgage business for 45 years. Jack’s life reflected a dedication to hard work, a devotion and a generosity to all who were in his life. Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Marilyn, his
four grown children, Allyson, John, Stacey and Kelly, his sister Phyllis and niece Leesa, eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. We are all forever changed for his presence in our lives and
are grateful for our time with him. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Hoag Memorial Presbyterian Hospital
