Conservative political conference scheduled for October

Conservatives and Republicans will gather next month in Newport Beach for the fourth annual Western Conservative Political Action Conference, according to information posted on WCPAC’s Website. The conference is scheduled for Oct. 15-16 at the Radisson hotel, 4545 MacArthur Blvd.

The slate of keynote speakers features Rep. Tom McClintock, Bruce Herschensohn, a senior fellow at Pepperdine University, and Scott Rasmussen, founder and president of Rasmussen Reports, which produces political polls. The conference will also have speeches by other GOP members in California’s Congressional delegation, including Reps. Dana Rohrabacher, Darrell Issa and Duncan Hunter.
