LONG BEACH — Estancia’s Jake Knapp shot four-under-par 68, including six birdies and an eagle, to earn medalist honors at the 12-team event in which Estancia finished fourth.

The Eagles’ team score of 327 was nine shots off the pace of victorious Santiago of Corona.

IRVINE — Mike Moorhead shot par 36 to earn medalist honors and lead the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League match Monday at Oak Creek Golf Club.

Jono Keedy and Steve Bruno both shot 38 for CdM (8-1, 2-0 in league).

John Davenport (40) and Josh Starns (41) rounded out the Sea Kings’ scorers.

Newport Harbor 195, San Juan Hills 206

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO — Mychael Clark and Kawika Morse shot three-over-par 38 to share medalist honors and pace the Sailors in the nonleague match Monday at Marbella Country Club.

Clark had an eagle.

The Sailors are 5-2.

Southern Section relays

LONG BEACH — Corona del Mar High’s Ari Marks, Michael Liao, John Kim and Matt Berry broke the meet record in the 200-yard medley relay Saturday at Belmont Plaza.

Marks (backstroke), Liao (breaststroke), Kim (butterfly) and Berry (freestyle) touched first in 1 minute, 36.49 seconds.

CdM was fourth and Newport Harbor finished fifth.

San Juan Hills 1

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO — Senior Ryan Mix had six goals and two assists to pace the visiting Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League game Monday.

Randall Nelson had three goals and two assists, Michael Ortlieb added two goals and two assists and Michael Keasey chipped in two goals for CdM (3-0, 1-0 in league).

SANTA ANA — The visiting Lightning swept all nine doubles sets to win the Academy League opener Monday and halt a nine-match losing streak to open the season.

Kevin Marshack and Sean Batten lost only three games at No. 1 doubles for Sage.

Crean Lutheran fell to 2-7.
