HBHS Lacrosse Home Victory

The Huntington Beach High School Varsity Lacrosse team won 13-12 in a closely played home game against Beckman HS in the new HBHS stadium on Thursday, March 18, 2010. Under Coach Brian Dunn, the HBHS Lacrosse program is continuing its growth with Freshman/Sophomore, Junior Varsity and Varsity level teams. In the Varsity game, the HBHS offense demonstrated excellent ball control and patience, working as team to attack the Beckman goal. HBHS Junior Steve Korresel led the scoring for HBHS with 5 goals and 2 assists, followed by Jace Gan with 3 goals, Andrew Jackson with 2 goals and 2 assists, Hunter Costin with 1 goal and 4 assists, Brandon Cyprus with 3 assists and Tim Francis and AJ Schaffner with 1 goal each. The Junior Varsity program showed the strength of the upcoming players in a 14 – 1 victory.
