Classic car enthusiasts can get their fix and benefit a good cause at the second annual Driving Toward a Cure for Alzheimer’s Disease on March 27.
The West Orange County Alumnae of Sigma Kappa Sorority is hosting the fundraiser to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer’s. Alzheimer’s is the seventh leading cause of death, with more than 5 million people in America suffering from it, according to the Alzheimer’s Assn.
The event will feature classic cars, music, awards, food and raffles.
Preregistration to show a car is due by Monday and includes a T-shirt. Registration is $30 and can be done at www.drivingtowardacure.net.
Tickets for the show are $10, and children 12 and younger get in free. The show is from 9 a.m. to noon at St. Wilfrid’s Episcopal Church at 18631 Chapel Lane.
