NEWPORT BEACH — Sailors junior pitcher Alex Bauer struck out 12, walked one and allowed four hits in her complete-game win Tuesday.
The one run came unearned in the nonleague game.
Freshman third baseman Hattie Marshall went three for four, while freshman second baseman Lauren Gandi had two hits and two runs for Newport Harbor (1-0). Sophomore shortstop Mandy Legault scored two runs and had two stolen bases for the Sailors, who also had sophomore first baseman Kendall Brennan (one hit, two runs) contribute.
Lindsay Susolik led CdM with a double, single and run scored.

NEWPORT BEACH — Sophomore Chase Capana took a no-hitter into the sixth inning, before allowing the lone hit of the game in the Newport Elks Tournament pool-play finale Tuesday at Newport Harbor.
Parker Jones worked two hitless innings, striking out four, to close the win for the Tars (3-0).
Blake Davey was two for two with four runs batted in and Matt Carpenter homered and drove in three for the winners.

CORONA DEL MAR — Senior catcher Beau Attyah was three for four with a home run and five runs batted in for the Sea Kings in a Foothill Division pool-play game of the Newport Elks Tournament Tuesday.
It was Attyah’s third home run in as many games.
Senior first baseman Michael Borchard and senior left fielder Parker Werline had two RBIs each, while senior center fielder Chase Carlile was two for four for CdM (1-2), which continues play in the tournament on Thursday.

COSTA MESA — Kannon Stone earned the pitching victory in relief and Ryan Boselo posted the save for the host Eagles in the Newport Elks Tournament pool-play finale Tuesday.
Victor Trujillo, Alex Troncoso and Andres Hernandez had two hits apiece for the Eagles (3-0).

COST MESA — Tracy Bebli, the Sailors’ No. 1 singles player, swept at love in the nonleague match Tuesday.
Newport Harbor seniors Nick Dahan and Jake Lee won two sets at love at No. 1 doubles. Daniel Lee and Thomas Yamamoto swept in singles for the Sailors (2-0), who play at Northwood on Thursday.

CORONA DEL MAR — Sea Kings Ryan Peyton and Shane Korber both swept in singles and gave up just three games between them in the nonleague match Tuesday.
CdM (2-0) won nine sets in doubles for the second straight match.

NEWPORT BEACH — Alex Manolakas, Denis Cirit and Orion Wise each won one set in singles for the Lightning in the nonleague match at The Tennis Club Tuesday.
The doubles teams of Sean Batten and Kevin Marshack, as well David Fayngor and Spenser Apramian won two sets each for Sage Hill (0-5).

MISSION VIEJO — The Sea Kings’ Mike Moorhead shot three-over-par 39 to earn medalist honors in the nonleague match at Mission Viejo Country Club Tuesday.
Jonathan Keedy, Josh Starnes and Steve Bruno each shot 42, while Tanner Trauthen shot 43 for CdM (2-1).

COSTA MESA — Sophomore Jake Knapp earned medalist honors with a one-over-par 37 for the Eagles in the nonleague match at Mesa Verde Country Club Tuesday.
Freshman Aaron Wood (40), senior Ryan Burns (41), freshman Jake Stone (44) and junior Jordan Young (44) also scored for Estancia.

DANA POINT — Kawika Morse shot two-over-par 38, the low for the Sailors in the nonleague match at Monarch Beach Golf Links Tuesday.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO — Jeremy Dorne won two events for the Lightning in the nonleague meet Tuesday.
Dorne won the 200-yard freestyle (2:01.30) and 500 free (5:33.04).
Eric Fish won the 100 free (56.94) and Josh Lee won the 100 breaststroke (1:10.22) for Sage Hill.
