OCC players lauded

Orange Coast College sophomores Chris Curtis and Jenna Lujan have been named first-team All-Orange Empire Conference in men’s and women’s basketball, respectively.

OCC freshmen Samantha Hansen and Amanda Deal were second-team women’s honorees.

Curtis, a 6-foot-3 guard, averaged 18.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists.

Lujan averaged 6.9 points and a team-best 7.7 rebounds.

Hansen averaged 11.7 points and 6.3 rebounds and shot 50% from the field.

Deal (10.9 ppg) led the team with 59 three-pointers.

Sophomore Chad Delaney (15.5 ppg) received honorable mention for the OCC men.
