BLIND MAN LETS NOTHING KEEP HIM DOWN

Scott Quinlan is totally blind, but that does not stop this man from doing things. Scott is a college student at both GWC and OCC, plays golf, is an active member of the Huntington Beach Host Lions and recently marched as a member of the blind drill team in the Rose Parade. Scott does not believe that the loss of his sight due to diabeties stops him from doing anything except driving and he says he does not miss that. Once a month Scott, his wife Diane along with other member of the HBH Lions cook and serve dinner to residents at the Orange County Ronald McDonald House. He also maintains an “A” average at both Orange Coast College and Golden West College where he is pursuing his degree to become a pyschologist. He hopes to some day work at the Long Beach VA Hospital at their blind rehab center that is now in the process of being built. Just ask any one who knows Scott and they will tell you this man is an insperation to all that meet him and you will quickly learn that Scott can do it all including cooking which is something he has always loved to do.
