COSTA MESA — Chris Curtis had a game-high 30 points and 15 rebounds for the Pirates in the Orange Empire Conference game Friday night.

Chad Delaney, who was five for nine from three-point range, contributed 28 points to help OCC improve to 8-11, 2-2 in conference.

COSTA MESA — The Chargers’ Debbie Chavez scored the winning basket after an offensive rebound with one second left in the Orange Empire Conference game Friday night.

Alyssa Hanson led the Pirates (13-8, 2-2 in conference) with 21 points. OCC’s Samantha Hansen and Amanda Deal had 16 and 12 points, respectively. Cypress improved to 11-11, 2-2.
