CORONA DEL MAR — Senior Reed Williams and junior Brian Ford scored two goals each for the Sea Kings in the nonleague game Friday.

Williams has scored 13 goals in the Sea Kings’ five games this season, all wins. Ford also added an assist.

Senior Paul Zubatov and freshman Jack McBean both produced a goal and an assist. Sophomores Jack Gorab and Matt Francini contributed one assist each for CdM, which led, 3-1, at halftime.

Senior Alex Mainthow had four saves and sophomore Connor Gaal had two shaves, sharing time as goalkeeper.

The Sea Kings play host to Laguna Beach Wednesday at 3 p.m. and then again at home against Newport Harbor Friday at 3 p.m.

COSTA MESA — Ricardo Esquivel scored in the 60th minute to tie the game for the Eagles in a pool-play game of the Irvine Team Challenge Friday at Jim Scott Stadium.

Carlos Barrios had the assist for Estancia (0-2-3), which will face Capistrano Valley today at 8 a.m.

SAN DIEGO — Senior Nikki Flynn scored in the 10th minute for the Sea Kings in a pool-play game of the Butch Lee Memorial Classic at Westview High Friday.

Senior Hayley Raguse assisted on Flynn’s goal. Sophomore goalie Sarah Cox had five saves, including a great save with 10 minutes left when she left her feet for a stop.

CdM (2-1-1) will face La Jolla today at 10:30 a.m.

WESTMINSTER — Danny Cheek had 12 points, while Clayton Ragsdale had 11 points and five assists to pace the Sea Kings in the final round of pool play Friday at the La Quinta tournament.

Ramon Mejia had seven points and five assists, Spencer Haley had seven rebounds and three blocked shots and Parker Stone had eight points for the winners (2-1), who advance to the third-place game against Tustin tonight at a time to be determined.

Chris Freeman had six points and Dillan Campbell had five assists for CdM.

COSTA MESA — Davon Joyner scored 17 points and Kohl Jones added 16 for the Eagles in the nonleague game Friday.

Wes Shaw had 11 points for Estancia (6-1), which will play host to Rancho Alamitos Monday at 7 p.m.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO — Senior Chris Anderson scored 13 points for the Sailors in the nonleague game Friday.

Senior Clay Friend had eight points for Newport (4-3), which returns to action Dec. 21 in the Portland Invitational.
