COSTA MESA — The host Pirates made 10 of 31 three-point attempts in the nonconference game Friday.

Amanda Deal had 11 points for the Pirates (8-3), while Danielle Keneipp and Samantha Hansen had 10 apiece to pace the winners, who were outrebounded, 54-42.

Deal had five rebounds and four assists, while Keneipp had five assists and two steals.

Six Pirates had at least one three-pointer, while Mt. San Jacinto (7-1) was two of 16 from beyond the arc.

OCC was also 10 of 13 from the free-throw line, where Mt. San Jacinto made just 12 of its 28.
