Local executives served up a healthy dose of holiday cheer when they paid a pre-Thanksgiving visit to Someone Cares Soup Kitchen.
Executives from Newport Beach-based Integrity Wealth Management on Wednesday joined the soup kitchen’s staff to prepare dinner for about 800 people.
They also presented a check to the soup kitchen to cover the costs of about 300 more meals during December.
The Someone Cares Soup Kitchen’s mission is “to feed a daily nutritional meal to the homeless, the unemployed, the working poor, the mentally challenged, the physically challenged, the senior citizens and most important of all — the children.”
The soup kitchen serves more than 300 people, seven days per week.
The kitchen also served meals to the needy on Thanksgiving Day.
