St. Mark Presbyterian Church will host its 26th annual Alternative Christmas Market from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday in Newport Beach.
About two dozen secular and faith-based charities will offer handcrafts, jewelry, fair-trade coffee and chocolates, Christmas note cards, wreaths, candy and more.
Many alternative gifts also will be available at the market, such as donating money toward the cost of a wheelchair or sending farming supplies to developing countries.
All proceeds from the event will go to the participating charities.
For a complete list of participating organizations, visit www.stmarkpresbyterian.org, or call (949) 644-1341.
Shoppers can also buy lentil soup and corn bread for $5 to support the Presbyterian Hunger Program.
Admission and parking at the holiday market is free.
St. Mark is at 2200 San Joaquin Hills Road.
