Schools to offer swine flu vaccine
The Huntington Beach Union High School District is offering its students free H1N1 vaccines.
The district partnered with the Orange County Health Agency to provide health clinics for its high school students to receive the live attenuated nasal spray vaccine. Students must have an I.D. card and a signed parent consent form and will need to fill out a questionnaire.
Students can get the vaccination from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 1 at Fountain Valley High School, Dec. 8 at Huntington Beach High School and Dec. 15 at Edison High School. During the allotted time, only students from those schools can attend, but from 3:30 to 5 p.m., any student in the district can go. Staff can also get the vaccination at the later time.
