All dogs invited to good citizen test

An American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Test Certification sponsored by the Standard Schnauzer Club of Southern California will be held as part of Responsible Dog Ownership Day at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 13 in Huntington Beach Central Park, 18000 Goldenwest St.

All dogs are invited to test. Those with good all-around manners in the 10-step test will receive a certificate from the club.

Dogs must be able to sit, stay, behave around other dogs and humans, and perform other tasks.

A charge of $15 per dog will be applied to defray test costs.
