Friends of Vallee Marion, a 15-year-old Huntington Beach High School student who was injured in an automobile accident July 16, have planned a benefit concert, dinner and raffle fundraiser tonight to raise funds for her expenses.
Vallee, a member of her school’s Academy of Performing Arts, suffered brain injuries in the accident, and remains in an induced coma.
The concert will feature teen girl band Early April, which wrote a song for Vallee that will be performed at the event.
Tickets are $5 at the door; the event will be from 6 to 9 p.m. at Don The Beachcomber, 16278 Pacific Coast Hwy., Huntington Beach.
Doors open at 5 p.m.; a full three-course dinner is available for $30 per person, with a large percentage of proceeds going to the family.
The raffle includes a signed skateboard, musical tickets and gift certificates for local businesses.
Reservations are required for the dinner. For more information, or to make a reservation, call (562) 592-1321.
