School district has open position on panel

The Huntington Beach Union High School District is looking for applicants to serve as a volunteer on the Personnel Commission’s three-member panel.

The panel comprises volunteers who help establish personnel policy and act as an appeals board for non-teaching employee disciplinary matters.

All applicants must be registered to vote, live in the school district and be able to attend meetings at 11 a.m. the first Thursday of the month.

They must not be employed by the district.

Applications are due by Friday.
