Nine area teams currently ranked in CIF polls

Local teams continue to grace the various CIF Southern Section winter sports polls.

Three local teams — Marina, Edison and Huntington Beach — find themselves ranked in girls’ basketball. Four teams — Marina, Huntington Beach, Edison and Ocean View — are ranked in boys’ basketball.

Edison is ranked in girls’ water polo and Fountain Valley in wrestling.
