Officers, commissioner announced for planning

The Planning Commission has named its 2009 officers and a new appointment to the commission.

Elizabeth Shier-Burnett, who was appointed by Keith Bohr, succeeds Tom Livengood (appointed by Cathy Green) as chair.

Blair Farley, appointed by Jill Hardy, will serve as the new vice chairman.

New Commissioner Barbara Delgleize has been appointed by City Councilman Don Hansen to replace former Planning Commissioner Devin Dwyer, who has moved to the City Council.

Other current commissioners include John Scandura, appointed by Gil Coerper, and Fred Speaker, appointed by Joe Carchio.

Dwyer has not yet announced his own choice of appointment; the seat remains vacant.
