Downtown image committee meets Feb. 23

The city’s new Downtown Image Ad Hoc Committee will meet 6 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Huntington Beach Art Center.

The committee was established by the City Council in order to improve the downtown environment on weekends, evenings and holidays.

City Councilmen Joe Carchio, Devin Dwyer and Don Hansen have been appointed to the committee, and will consider the appointment of a committee chair and 12 additional at-large individuals. Additional subcommittees may be formed; all interest from the public is welcome.
