Suzanne S. Howard

Suzanne S. Howard passed away peacefully on January 21st at the age of 89. Born in Waterloo, Iowa, she was three when her family moved to Southern California and settled in Glendale. Suzanne attended R.D. White Elementary School, Wilson Jr. High, Glendale High School and Glendale College. While in high school she met the love of her life, Frank T. Howard. They married in February of 1941 and raised three children, Michael, Kathleen and Sally. Suzanne delighted in her children, 10 grand children and 15 great grand children. Travel was a passion of hers and she saw the world with her husband, family and friends. An important part of Suzanne’s life was her charity work. She was an active member of PEO, National Charity League and Las Candelas, an organization that gives volunteer service to emotionally disturbed children. A funeral mass will be held Friday, February 6th at 11:00am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church on Balboa Island. Donations in her memory to Las Candelas, PO Box 133, Montrose CA 91021-0133 would be greatly appreciated.
