Emerging Artists

I would like to take the opportunity to tell you about Randy Noborikawa, an amazing indie artist from Costa Mesa.

His art is on show at present at our gallery/boutique/event space (eVocal, 814 w 19th St, Costa Mesa).

We have many truly amazing emerging artists showing their work at various events in our space and we usually have someone featured. They all deserve recognition, but Randy really is an outstanding and innovative artist who should not be missed.

I hope you take the time to read his bio and look at his websites (see bio below)....or even better... come in and see his art for yourself! Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Artist Bio: Randy Noborikawa Artshow at eVocal in Costa Mesa (9th April – 9th May 2008) Randy Noborikawa is a local Costa Mesa artist. Born in 1973, left handed and blessed with ADD (to use his words) Randy spent his youth in Simi Valley, Garden Grove, Anaheim & El Toro enjoying all the things he loves… Skimboarding, Skateboarding, Surfing and playing the keyboards.

He moved to San Francisco for a time and was fortunate to become roommates with an artist named Coro from whom he swears he learned more than he did at school. Classically trained, and doing his best to unlearn all of that, Randy sold his soul for stability and accepted a commercial art job. The upside was that he traveled the globe with the surf industry giant Quicksilver.

He acknowledges that materialism has him in a chokehold, but he is fighting back. His show @ eVocal (814 W 19th St, Costa Mesa, CA. 92627) is just a block from his studio and should not be missed.
