Billionaire investor Bill Gross has given $1 million to the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Gross earned his masters in business administration from UCLA before founding Pacific Investment Management Company, a Newport Beach-based company specializing in bonds and mutual funds.
“Since earning my MBA at Anderson I’ve enjoyed maintaining a close relationship with the school and its students,” Gross said. “I strongly believe that unrestricted funds are essential to advance the school.”
According to Forbes Magazine, Gross is the 380th wealthiest man in the United States with assets totaling $1.3 billion.
