Nominate citizens for the Circle of Service Award

The city of Costa Mesa is accepting nominations for the Circle of Service Award. To qualify for consideration, nominees must: have been deceased a minimum of one year prior to nomination; been a resident of Costa Mesa for a minimum of 10 years; been involved in community service for a minimum of seven years or have given their life in the service of the nation or community.
Nomination forms are available at the city’s recreation division, 77 Fair Drive, 3rd floor, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. A check for $350 for a memorial plaque, made payable to the city of Costa Mesa, must accompany the completed form in order to be considered by the city’s Parks and Recreation Commission, which will recommend two nominations to City Council for approval. The deadline for nominations is 4:30 p.m. March 5.
