OCC hosts veritable $1 book buffet Wednesday

On Wednesday, the Orange Coast College Friends of the Library will host its annual fall book sale at the college’s student center lounge and patio.

The event is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the final hour turning into a veritable buffet of literature-for-less.In the “dollar a bag” sale from 2 to 3 p.m., shoppers will get a brown bag to fill with as many books as they can. The grand total for the bag of books? One dollar.

A variety of books will be available from bestsellers, romance and mysteries to science, art, history and computers. Most selling for $1 the whole day.

A special pre-sale will begin at 9 a.m. for members of the Friends of the Library.
